These terms apply when you use this website or buy Algorithms Simplified. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Who we are
This website and the book are published by Rohith B V, trading as Facile Publishing (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at explorer.rohith@gmail.com.
The product
Algorithms Simplified — A Minimalist Approach to Problem-Solving is a digital book (an e-book, delivered as a downloadable file) together with any bundled materials described at the point of sale. It is an educational work intended for personal learning.
Orders and payment
Purchases are processed through a third-party checkout and payment provider. When you buy, you may also be subject to that provider’s terms. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise and may include applicable taxes. We may update prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
Delivery
Because this is a digital product, you receive access to download the book immediately or shortly after your payment is confirmed, via a download link or your account with the checkout provider. Please keep your copy and download link safe.
Licence and permitted use
When you buy the book, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read it for your own personal, non-commercial use. In line with the book’s copyright notice, no part of the book may be reproduced, distributed, resold, shared, uploaded, or transmitted in any form without our prior written permission. You may not remove any copyright or attribution notices.
Intellectual property
The book, its text, diagrams, and design, and the content of this website are protected by copyright and are © Rohith B V. All rights reserved. “Algorithms Simplified” and “Facile Publishing” are used as identifiers of this work and its publisher.
Refunds and cancellation
Your statutory rights. Under UK consumer law the book must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If it is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or a refund. Nothing in these terms limits those statutory rights.
Immediate download and the 14-day cancellation right. The book is digital content supplied by download. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. Because the book is delivered immediately, at checkout you are asked to consent to delivery starting straight away and to acknowledge that you lose this cancellation right once the download begins. If you give that consent and access the download, the 14-day right no longer applies. If you do not consent, access begins after the 14-day period ends.
If something goes wrong. If you can’t access your download, or you’re not happy with your purchase, email us at explorer.rohith@gmail.com and we’ll help — including a replacement or refund where appropriate. The refund policy of the checkout provider used for your order may also apply.
No guarantee of results
The book is provided for general educational and informational purposes. While every care has been taken in preparing it, we make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of its content, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome (including, for example, success in exams or interviews) from using it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the book or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Third-party links
This website and the book may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we make changes.
